Call for Papers:
Volume 2, Issue No. 1
We are pleased to announce the call for papers for Volume 2, Issue No. 1 of Chronicle, focusing on Digital Transformation. This issue explores the impacts of digital transformation across various sectors and disciplines, highlighting how new forms of digital technologies are leveraged in business and economics, engineering and architecture, education, mass media, society, culture, and the arts.
With Marshall McLuhan’s notion of “the medium is the message” as our overarching framework, we invite researchers, scholars, and practitioners to examine how digital technologies shape societal outcomes, perceptions, and future trajectories.
Themes and Topics:
Submissions are encouraged on topics including, but not limited to:
1. Business and Economics: Digital business models, e-commerce, fintech innovations, and the economic implications of digital disruption.
2. Engineering and Architecture: Smart cities, digital twins, BIM (Building Information Modeling), and the integration of IoT in infrastructure.
3. The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Papers that examine the role of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in driving digital transformation. This includes the integration of AI, machine learning, big data, cybersecurity, blockchain, and other advanced technologies in transforming traditional sectors and creating new paradigms.
4. Education: Digital pedagogy, e-learning innovations, virtual classrooms, and the role of AI in education.
5. Mass Media: The evolution of digital journalism, social media influence, content creation and consumption in the digital age.
6. The Arts: Digital art forms, the impact of technology on artistic creation and distribution, and new media art.
7. Society and Culture: Digital citizenship, the role of digital media in cultural preservation and change, and the societal implications of digital identity.
Submission Guidelines:
To avoid any delay, please read the guidelines carefully before submitting
1. Paper format: APA 7th Edition
2. All images (including graphs or charts) included in the essay should be in high-resolution jpg or png format (at least 300 dpi)
3. The submission deadline is on October 5, 2024. Please submit your full papers to the Editor-in-Chief via email at elvinv@apc.edu.ph.
4. All submissions will undergo a blind peer review process
